USWS Honored to Present at Safety Forum
Wintersville, OH (April 19, 2016) — Hess Utica hosted a safety forum for all contractors performing services in support of their operations. USWS was honored to be asked to speak at this event! With the recent success of our revised hand safety program (ZERO OSHA Recordable injuries, and one “report only” first aid case so far this year), this program was an obvious choice for sharing.
Northeast Region HSE Manager Stacy Smith and Ohio District Operations Trainer Shad Watkins did a great job of not only presenting the fundamentals of our program, but were also able to share personal stories that always help make safety “real”.
This hand safety program has had a great impact on our safety performance, as well as our ability to provide our clients with world-class service quality. But the program is only successful because our field operations teams are making it happen!
So my personal thanks go out to each and every employee of USWS; without your focus and dedication to our core values, we would be just another service company.
Thanks again, and let’s be proactively safe out there!!
