New Enhancements Increase Efficiencies and Reduce Costs for Operator in the Permian
Houston, Texas (May 17, 2018) — U.S. Well Services, LLC. (USWS) Clean Fleet®, the world’s leading and first fully electric hydraulic fracturing fleet, is operating in the Permian Basin for EP Energy and the results are beating expectations. Clean Fleet® continues to increase efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
USWS is also utilizing the patent-pending PowerPath™ technology to provide remote power to on-site Clean Fleet® pumping equipment from our centrally located power generation located 2.5 miles away. F3 Fuel™ technology provides field natural gas to the turbines. F3 Fuel™ technology delivers significant cost savings of up to $20 million per year compared to a diesel fleet and offers the flexibility to run on either field gas, CNG or LNG.
EP said, “During the quarter, the company began to use an electric-powered frac fleet, one of only a few operating in the country. The frac fleet utilizes field gas rather than diesel fuel to generate power, which saves costs and time. The company has increased average pumping hours per day by approximately 30 percent in its first three pads compared with the fourth quarter of 2017.
“Electric Frac fleet operation in Permian – reduces $/stage and improves pump time.”
USWS provides high-pressure, hydraulic fracturing services in unconventional oil and natural gas basins. Both our conventional (diesel) and Clean Fleet® (electric) hydraulic fracturing fleets are among the most reliable and highest performing fleets in the industry, with the capability to meet the most demanding pressure and pump rate requirements.
