District Technical Manager

Summary:  The District Technical Manager will oversee all Technical functions at the district level and offer support to HSEQ, Operations, and Sales.  The District Technical Manager reports directly to the Regional Technical Manager and will coordinate with the Technical Professional Leads to ensure efficient and effective technical field operations.


Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:


The District Technical Manager will offer support to all Technical Professional personnel within their District.  Detailed responsibilities are listed below


  • Shall work closely with the District Manager, Operations Supervisor, Warehouse and the Regional Sand Logistics Manager to review all    Pre-Pad material requirements and logistics.
  • Will oversee the continuation of successful technical operations by coordinating with the Technical Professional Lead assigned to each fleet.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper Technical Professional coverage of each District Fleet.
  • Responsible for reviewing fluid system design in Job Proposals.
  • Responsible for reviewing Post Job Reports for improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for reviewing Field Invoices for accuracy.
  • Responsible for Technical attendance of pre pad meetings associated with the District.
  • Create pad layout CAD drawings associated with the District.
  • Ensure Frac Focus data for each well completed is supplied to the customer.
  • Ensure customer water analysis and fluid performance testing is completed and reported.
  • Responsible for selecting, interviewing, evaluating, and training Technical Professionals at the District.
  • Field Technical Operations when required.
  • Responsible for weekly schedules and project planning.
  • Responsible for attending District meetings.
  • Offer support for Customer meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate and offer support to other District Technical Managers when needed.




  • Recommended 3 year experience as a Technical Professional in the fracturing industry.



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


  • A valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record





While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain friendly and effective contact with employees, vendors, customers of the company, members of the community, and employees of other affiliated companies, departments or divisions.


Working Conditions


Office Environment but not limited to environments and geographical areas and sometimes, in what may be considered harsh environments. Exposure to extreme temperatures, wind, precipitation, in addition to working at heights and chemicals may be experienced when working in the field or plant locations. They must be available seven days per week when on duty and is required to be reachable by telephone whenever the need arises.
